OME TREATS FOR YOU BELOW…

I will be in touch within 24 hours. PLEASE check your spam or promotions folder if you haven’t heard back from me. Pesky little email filters can sometimes mean my emails are missed. I reply to each and every enquiry. Once you have my email, please add me to your ‘safe sender’ list or contacts.

If you haven’t done so already please follow me on Instagram and Facebook. You are welcome to visit my blog. Over my 10 plus years conducting newborn photoshoots, I have gathered a wealth of information, which I would love to share with you.

I’ve teamed up lovely Lindsay antenatal and postnatal educator from The Mummas Village Elmbridge and Woking to create a Collection or Knowledge base of blogs.

CHOCOLATE ORANGE COOKIES

As a ‘thank you’ for getting in touch, and because I LOVE cake so much, here is one of my favourite recipes. What (apart from the taste), is that it is so easy to make. Perfect to make with children of all ages.

  • 125g unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 115g unrefined soft brown sugar
  • 110g white caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  •  1tsp orange extract
  • 220g self-raising flour
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 200g chocolate chips

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. In a large bowl cream together the butter and sugars until pale and fluffy then add the egg and orange extract and mix together well. Sift the flour and salt and then add to the egg mixture. Mixing thoroughly until a soft dough forms. Finally stir in the chocolate chips. Break off walnut sized pieces of the dough, and roll into balls. Place these on the baking sheets leaving space between them as they will spread out during baking. Place in the oven and bake for 7 minutes for the ultimate Millie’s experience, or 10 minutes if you prefer a crunch. Leave to cool on the trays for about 10 minutes then transfer onto a cooling wire to cool completely
