Lainston House Wedding Styled Shoot

In July met local wedding planner Alexandria of Alexandria Events for a morning coffee. It was a meeting full of creativity and ideas. We both love taking about all things Weddings, particularly as I was a recent bride and at the time Alexandria’s own wedding was just 2 months away! The meeting was very productive, ending in us deciding to plan our ‘Winter Wonderland Styled Shoot’.

Firstly we created a Pinterest board to gather ideas and inspiration. There are so many different ways the “Winter”, theme can be explored. We chose a very neutral and rustic palette. It was important to show brides that a winter wedding doesn’t have to be “Christmassy” and cold, but elegant and warm, with the use of candles and fireplaces.

We knew the venue for the shoot would be a key factor. Both of us absolutely adore the stunning grounds and architecture of Lainston House and were utterly thrilled to have them on board. We met Justine, the wedding coordinator at Lainston House. Justine couldn’t do enough to help us with our shoot, showing us around the gorgeous grounds, so we could gather more ideas and inspiration. There were three settings that really stood out to us and decided to utilise them all:

By showing three different variations of our theme, we can simply display the variety and options available for couples so they can ensure their wedding is as individual and unique as they are.

From our own weddings we have been so lucky to work with some amazing wedding suppliers and asked many of them to be involved in our shoot, inviting them to our Pinterest board. I was so excited to have so much talent on board and see how involved all the suppliers were with the shoot. It took a couple of months in the planning but our Winter Wonderland vision was finally taking shape.
On the shoot day the styling and contribution from the suppliers was so far above and beyond my expectations, and my expectations were very high.

We are lucky enough to have our shoot currently featuring in ‘Your Hampshire & Dorset County Wedding Magazine’, and on the Front page too! A huge thank you goes out to everyone involved. It makes me want to get married all over again.

I hope you enjoy my images.
