Back in July we met for their engagement session where I had the privilege of learning more about them as a couple and how they first met (You can find out more about their engagement session here).
Every aspect of the wedding was planned to perfection. The guests were looked after and able to see just what a great team Jess and Dan make. It was a beautiful wedding where two equal partners shared all the fun and joy of the wedding planning process. Wherever I went I heard the laughter of guests. This truly was a very special wedding.
The day started off with bright sunshine, which continued all day. A truly beautiful day, for a truly beautiful couple.
As I arrived at Jessica’s family home for her bridal prep, I was warmly greater by Jess’s lovely mum. There was a hub of excitement upstairs as the bridal party were getting ready. When Jess and I saw one another we couldn’t help but shed a little tear. All the excitement, all the planning, all the anticipation, and now the day was finally here. We both grew close during the wedding planning. I thought of Jess like a younger sister, a friend getting married and I was so proud to see it.
The bridesmaids got ready in one room (I love how all the dresses were hanging up together with their own individual name tags).
While Jess got ready in her own room. It was just what she needed, that little bit of alone time, near to those she loves, as Jess calms her nerves.
Daniel & Jess picked out wedding day fragrances for each other to wear on the day. I love this idea.
Oh Jess’s shoes Christian Louboutin shoes! Love love love!
The bridesmaids were given their gorgeous wedding necklace gifts of the morning, so they could wear them with their dresses.
Becky (Jess’s mum), looked the picture of elegance. An emotional Jess, welled up as she caught a glimpse of her mum. Such a lovely moment.
Two of Jess’s bridesmaids were her sisters. As they both helped her into her bridal gown there were sequels of “you look so beautiful” and “I’m so proud of you”.
All of the beautiful bridesmaids
… and the stunning bride.
The ceremony took place at the quaint St Mary’s village church.
Arriving in style
It was a very emotional ceremony.
Oh it was hot outside on this beautiful summers day.
Onto one of my favourite wedding venues, gorgeous Farbridge!
Farbridge has a beautiful room for couples with its very own private courtyard. We took advantage of this, findling a little shade and privacy for Jess & Daniel’s first portrait session.
When Jess told me she chose a Jenny Packham dress, I knew that her choice would be perfect. Her styled, plus Jenny Packham’s chic glamour is a match made in heaven.
The guests were delighted with all that was provided!
There was a wonderful atmosphere.
Fabulous flowers provided by Wild Green Floristry.
Jess and Daniel styled every inch of the main barn to perfection.
Oh so many details, all around!
If you read Jess & Daniels engagement session, you will know that Jess is a very talented dancer. She has chosen to share her love of dancing by setting up her baby ballet dance school for little ones. Well, Jess & Daniel had something very special planned, a unique one off performance by her baby ballet stars!
Introducing Mr & Mrs Crosthwaite!
Alongside the speeches from the Groom, Best Man and Father of bride, Jess’s sisters made their very own speech. Each and every speech had the room in fits of laughter.
As the wedding breakfast ended and the light was a little lower in the sky, we headed to the rolling fields opposite for Jess & Daniel’s second portrait session.
Love how happy the guests were!
With Jess being a dancer their first dance involved so many beautiful twists and turns. Despite there being a room full of people, it was clear to see that to Jess and Dan, they were the only two people in the room.
To the new Mr & Mrs Crosthwaite: What a tremendous joy it was to photograph your wedding. From the moment we met I new your wedding going to be special. I will remember your wonderful wedding day forever. Both you and your families made me feel like a warmly welcome guest. I think you so so much for choosing me to document such an outstanding day! I wish you both all of the happiness in the world xXx
