t’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Minis! These have become one of my favourite things to do in the studio, and after running them year on year I can’t wait to welcome new families alongside all the familiar faces I look forward to seeing every December. Being part of your family’s Christmas traditions is something I never take for granted.
I’ve got these sessions down to a fine art by now, though that’s never made me love them any less. My Christmas planning quietly starts back in June and doesn’t wind down until every last image is edited and on its way to you, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way!
The last weekend in August, it was an early Christmas in the Bull household. I had some lovely families model for me for my model call. Over 100 families asked to be a part of it! Also, like every year, my boys dressed up in their festive outfits to help me model the setup, and as always, they were rewarded with a little gift for being such wonderful helpers. It really struck me this year how much they’ve grown. What a difference a single year makes.
Last year the sessions sold out super fast, mostly to my lovely returning clients, which meant some of my VIP list missed out. To make things fairer this year, I’m splitting the dates. Friday 6th and Saturday 7th of November are just for my VIP list. Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of November are for returning full session clients, who I’ll email separately with their own booking link. If any of those slots are still free, they’ll be offered to my VIP list too. I’ve also decided to continue the price freeze. Sessions remain £49, with a special discount for returning full session clients.
I cannot wait to welcome your little ones (and you!) back for these magical portraits. This year’s set is all about golden glow and cosy warmth. A glowing fireplace, twinkling trees, and soft touches that make the portraits feel timeless and festive. I’ve poured so much love into every detail, and I’m so happy to share it with you.

When do they take place?
Sessions take place Friday 6th November at Byfleet Village Hall (at this location there is a special discount for members of The Mummas Village, please ask your course leader for more information) and Saturday 7th at The Lorraine Claire Photography studio in Bisley, Woking, for my VIP List. Plus Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of November at The Lorraine Claire Photography studio in Bisley, Woking for returning full session clients. Any slots not taken by returning clients will be offered to my VIP list when their booking opens on Sunday 13th September at 9pm.
Is there a minimum age for the session?
All children from babies upwards are of course welcome. If your baby can’t lie on their tummy, holding their head up, or if your baby is likely to crawl or run off, I ask that the person bringing the baby can be in the photos to support/ hold their baby. You are very welcome to be in the photos anyway, this is set to a maximum of 5 people.
How long is the session?
Your appointment lasts ten minutes. I allow a few minutes after every session to spray my backdrops and props with disinfectant after every slot.
Do you use any props?
I have my own rocking horse prop, wooden crate (can be sat in for babies or on for older children), nutcracker as well as a couple of extra fun props for your little ones. These are all easy to clean and sanitised between each use.
Can I bring somebody else?
The session is valid for siblings from one family only. If you wish to bring cousins/friends or anybody else, please book a session per family. If you book sessions next to each other we are happy to discuss photographing everybody both together and individually. This is set to a maximum of 5 people in the photographs.
How much does the session cost?
The session costs £49 and includes:
– a 10 minute photography session
– your favourite image from the day as a high resolution digital download, that you can print, share online!
After your session you’ll receive login details to your online gallery where you can choose your complimentary image from a minimum of 3 images. You can choose to purchase additional images if you wish although there is no obligation to do so. There are no shortcuts with my Christmas Minis, each image is carefully hand edited, just like my full sessions.
Can I change my day or time?
All bookings are final, sessions generally sell out quickly.
Do you have any safety measures still in place?
Just like in pre covid time, before and after every session I spray the props with disinfectant and use hand sanitiser throughout.
Amazing! How do I book?
My VIP mailing list get first access. They’ll receive an email with their booking link, which goes live Sunday 13th September at 9pm. Any slots still free after that open to everyone on Monday 14th September at 9pm, and can be booked by clicking HERE.
Members of my VIP Mailing list will receive an email with a link to book the session which will be active Sunday September 13th at 9pm, 24 hours before general sale.
Returning full session clients, look out for your own email with your booking link and dates.
