Holly & Rory’s Cain Manor wedding was here. You may recognise this lovely couple from their Easter engagement session. They both met in the military, and are more used to assault courses then dressing up in glamours glows. As a salute to their military background, Rory and many of his guests decided to wear traditional military clothing, and wow the boys did look dapper!
It might have been a rainy afternoon at Cain Manor but it didn’t dampen anyone’s sprits as everyone celebrated Holly & Rory’s love with happiness, enthusiasm and a whole lot of joy.
I absolutely adore the Wedding stationery by Vanilla Retro Stationery. During Holly & Rory’s engagement session, I spotting the invites out on the table and just had to ask to take a set home with me to photograph.
Cain Manor’s bridal suite was a buzz of excitement as I entered to photograph Holly’s bridal prep. Wearing matching bridesmaids pyjamas, the girls looked very stylish. Holly worn her own, suitably white and classy, pyjama short set.
The bridesmaids gifts were purchased from Katie Loxton and Highland Angel. The presents were a big hit with the girls.
Holly and her mum went inside the bathroom to dress Holly in her gown. There were gasps all around the room as Holly stepped out and made her grand entrance.
As Holly’s father turned up, those gasps turned to tears of joy and pride. It was a truly beautiful moment.
Wow, simply stunning. The team at Natasha Wiggins did a gorgeous job on Holly’s make-up and hair.
The wedding ceremony took place at St Luke’s Church in Greyshott, just a 7 minute drive from Cain Manor.
Rory and his friends looked oh-so dashing in their military uniforms.
Excitement was in the air as Holly’s wedding car pulled up at the church.
Holly’s dad was beaming with happiness the whole day.
Rory’s breath was truly taken away as he saw his glamorous bride walk down the aisle.
I was absolutely blown away but the beauty of St Luke’s Church. The beautiful stain glass windows and cobbled stone was the perfect setting to have such a heartfelt ceremony.
The magical moment of the first kiss as husband and wife.
During the bridal prep at Cain Manor, Holly informed me that was they leave the church there will be a special military sword salute. Being my first military wedding, I was so excited about seeing this in action. It was lovely, causing the guests much entertainment as they clapped and cheered the boys along.
The new Mr & Mrs Irvine departed for the Cain Manor wedding reception.
Thinking of everything, not only were there canapés for the guests but also some lovely punch too!
What wedding would be complete without some confetti!
The staff at Cain Manor and Holly & Rory’s entire team of wedding suppliers did an amazing job at setting up the ballroom for the wedding breakfast.
Such Sophisticated table place settings.
The room was surrounded by beautiful wedding flower, peonies and roses, designed by Jay Archer.
Rory chose his brother to be his best man, so there was a lot of brotherly love, as the boys teased one another in their speeches. Holly didn’t escape as her very proud father told a few story’s from her childhood which had the place in stitches.
Towards the end of the group photos the heavens opened, so we rescheduled the couples portraits for after the wedding breakfast. Thankfully although it was still slightly raining, it cleared up enough for bride and group photos in Cain Manor’s beautiful meadow.
The new Mr & Mrs couldn’t keep their hands of one another.
Such a happy couple.
Oh my, this Essence of Australia wedding dress was simply divine and suited Holly to tea.
There is a beautiful staircase in the manor, we could resist taking some photos, which showed off Holly’s wedding dress train perfectly.
The inventive Guest Book, entertained the guests no end, as they slapped, shaked and stuck their new memories from the wedding.
The cake, oh the spectacular cake. Designed and made by Emma at Gifted Heart Cakes. This was a classy cake laced with stunning florals.
They danced like they were the only two people in the room as they twist and swayed along to the music.
Towards the end of the song, guests joined in taking the hands of partners and friends.
To the new Mr & Mrs: It was a true honour to be invited to photographed your first day as husband and wife, and a pleasure to meet your families and friends. Your wedding was every bit as wonderful as I knew it would be. I know you both will have a lifetime of happiness together xXx
