Sophie and her husband Marco own ‘Cotton & Beau‘, a creative wedding styling and prop shop. I was lucky enough to meet Sophie earlier this summer. As usual when I meet up with wedding suppliers that share the same passion and enthusiasm as I do, we couldn’t stop talking!
Like I did a few months ago, Sophie is going through a rebrand. In additional to her wedding styling, together with her husband Marco, they are launching a prop shop. They have a fabulous workspace where they are getting creative, building all sorts of props. I was thrilled to do a portrait session for Sophie & Marco to help promote the look and feel of their brand. To do this I learnt more about ‘Cotton & Beau’ and their approach to weddings. Sophie and Marco are a perfect team and really bounce ideas off one another.
Sophie and Marco just radiate love and happiness.
The location had three main areas which we wanted to utilise. The first was the woodlands, for this we chose some darker outfit to better compliment the woods.
Sophie wanted to bring some balloons to the session so when we arrived to my house for a cup of tea before the session, she came armed with balloons, ribbons and a helluim cylinder.
The woods were full of heather, which I noticed would go perfectly with Sophia’s hair.
Time for an outfit change and onto the next location in the common, the sand pit.
A little bit further along there is some gorgeous straw grass. Sophie and Marco was relaxed and giggle throughout the session.
We were bless with some early autumn sunshine which gave us some beautiful light.
Thank you Sophie and Marco for walking through all of the long grass, it was totally worth it!
I could have photographed these two all day!
Keep a look out for ‘Cotton & Beau’ when the online shop opens. Trust me you will be in for a treat xXx.
