On a night out in Nottingham Flo caught Joe’s eye. After spending a little time talking to her, he was hooked. Early on Joe knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Flo. During a walk on Hampstead Heath he proposed and of course she said yes!
Their wedding took place at St Charles church with the reception being held at the stunning Rise Hall. St Charles church has truly breathtaking interiors. This was so fitting for such as sweet couple.
What struck me about Joe and Flo was how relaxed they both were. They really enjoyed the ceremony and it certainly showed.
Rise Hall was the perfect backdrop for the reception. Quintessentially English, with gorgeous grounds and gardens, Rise Hall is one of my most favourite venues to photograph.

Everyone was in great spirits, enjoying the sunshine and wonderful atmosphere.
We headed to the front Lawn for the couple portraits.
Sunshine, laughter and a beautful setting, this wedding had it all!
Flo, your dress was just, wow! Elegant, classy and with a fabulous little slip. You looked amazing.
We decided to head indoors.
Love the beautiful interior and the window light, so pretty!
There was a yummy BBQ (best salmon ever), which was ideal considering the weather!
The wedding breakfast took place in the ballroom.
The speeches were touching and beautiful, just lovely.
After the wedding breakfast the sun was still shining but there was a gentle breeze, helping to cool down the guests as they had fun in the gardens.
Later in the evening the day went into full swing with party anthems plus a little karoke!
Joe and Flo, thank you for inviting me to document this new chapter in your lives. Your wedding was wonderful, joyous and a pleasure to be a part of.
Oh, and Joe, after hearing you on Karoke with Gemma, I really think you have missed your calling as a brother and sister duo!
