Emily and Thomas were the lucky winners of my competition in association with Your Surrey wedding magazine to win a wedding photography package.
They were such a deserving couple, lovely through and through! Their love story started off as a friendship but they grew to love each other. They lived in Holland for a year, before they moved back to England to start a family. Shortly after their return they an oh so cute baby girl, Pippa.
When Emily told me all about her wedding plans, I could practically burst with excitement! All of the family has put their heart and soul into making it such a special wedding day for everyone, and wow did they deliver!
Emily chose a gorgeous 50’s styled dress which complimented the vintage 50s theme perfectly!
Retro London buses were hired to collect all of the guests! The ceremony took place at Emily’s childhood church in Farnborough.
Little Pippa really took to her flower girl role.
The ceremony was lovely and meaningful.
Tom chose his two best friends to be his Best ladies! While Sam was Emily’s maid of honour.
Emily is the eldest of 5 girls, all of whom were bridesmaids!
Such a lovely couple!
The fabulous London bus was a great prop for the bide and groom portraits!
Having their wedding reception at Emily’s parents home gave the wedding such a warm and cosy feel.
Details, details, details. Everywhere I looked there was something quirky and new!
It really was a feast for the eyes!
It wasn’t just outside that was full of personality and details. Emily’s mum has decorated the entire house with her own unique flare.
This photo is actually of the kitchen floor! Yes, Emily’s mum made this all herself, just amazing!
A yummilicious cream tea was provided for the wedding breakfast.
The speeches causeed lots of laughter.
The first dance was a very special 50’s swing dance, which Emily and Tom performed to perfection.
To the new Mr & Mrs: I couldn’t be happier you won my competition. All of the effort you and your family went to didn’t go unnoticed, it was such a wonderful wedding day. You all should be so proud!
